Welcome to HAFASMINI ACRES

He has arrived " It's A Boy " Queenie had her second Gypsy Sport horse for us on May 17-09 and he looks alot like his dad.

Hi and welcome to HafasMini Acres where our horses are as special as all our grandkids. We are a small farm, 40 acres, located in Fountain, Michigan, which is along the west lake shore in the middle of the state, between Ludington and Manistee. Sam and I have had horses all our lives but purchased our first miniature horse in 1984 and expanded from there. Our miniatures can be shown, driven, bred or just made into your very best friend. From birth our minis are handled by our grandchildren whenever they come to visit at the farm. With the temperment of our stallions the grandkids can even play around with them. All our miniatures are registered AMHR and some are even double registered but every miniature on our farm is 34" or under. So come and take a look, you will surely find a friendly miniature to take home and become your very good friend. We are also on a new adventure, our first Registered Gypsy Sport Horse will arrive sometime in July and we are so excited. Our haflinger mare Queenie was bred to a Registered Gypsy Vanner stallion named Declan. You can go to their page on our website to find out more about them. If you think the haflinger breed is calm and easy to handle, the gypsy horses are even better. miniatures are completely separated from the hunter-jumper world. They compete in their own horse shows which include categories: conformation, in hand hunter, jumper and obstacle; cart pulling, endurance, and obstacle. Miniature horses also make wonderful domestic pets.
